The Antwerp Expo is a convention center in the Belgian city of Antwerp. The building is located on Jan Van Rijswijcklaan (N177), close to the Antwerp Ring. Opposite Antwerp Expo is the Tank Monument.

Flanders Expo contains eight halls. The central hall, Hall 1, is the largest, and offers a surface area of 19,152 m². To the left of this central hall are Halls 2, 4 and 6, and to the right, 3, 5 and 7. These identical halls all offer 4032 m² of surface area. Later Hall 8 was added, this is a square hall with a surface area of 10,735 m² and a height of 18 meters.

Did you know that in 1411 there were already ‘Halls’ in Kortrijk? It was called the Cloth Hall and was located on the Grand Place. The old Cloth Hall had a commercial function in the Middle Ages.
When this Cloth Hall became too small, the Grote Hallen was built on the current Schouwburgplein.
