Looking back to 2021

What a year! After 1.5 years without exhibitions and events, we were finally able to start again in September doing the work we love most. Decorating trade fairs and events with design furniture. And how did it go?! In three months’ time, we supplied nearly 200 trade fairs and events, small, large and very large, with furniture throughout Western Europe. That’s not even counting the individual deliveries to your premises. It was hard work, but we enjoyed it! It was great to be able to supply you with our furniture again and also great to have seen many of you, be it at your business or at a trade fair.

 

For us, both CPhI in Milan and Vitafoods in Geneva were real highlights. Trucks full of Adexpo furniture went right across Europe to deliver to the international stage, with great success.

 

 

 

Unfortunately, governments across Europe have (temporarily) put the brakes back on, but we won’t sit still. We continue to improve our website, our product range and our processes, so that we are ready for you when more is possible again. We can’t wait!

Changes in the sales department

Most of you have sent an email to info@adexpo.nl or called us at one point or another. You will then usually end up at our sales department, but this department has changed a bit over the last few months. Of course, our steady base consisting of Sofie and Emmy is still going strong, but early December we said goodbye to Janneke. She will start a new challenge in the new year.

But don’t worry! Reinforcements have also joined us in recent months. At the end of August, Kim Kop started in the role of Inside Sales Manager. She was thrown straight into the intense world of fairs and events when the peak of 2021 arrived at the beginning of September. Fortunately, she has come through this well and is growing into her role with great enthusiasm. Besides Kim, Kitty van Veelen-Beukers joined us at the beginning of November. Together with Emmy and Sofie, she forms the basis of our sales department. So, do you have any questions about our product range, would you like to request a quotation or can we help you with something else? Team Adexpo wishes you happy holidays!

It has been a strange year for the whole industry, but we all pulled through with a nice peak in September and October. With the holidays just around the corner, it’s a quieter period again as we look forward to fairs and events planned in 2022. Let’s hope that as many as possible will get the go ahead. For now, on behalf of the entire Adexpo team, we wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
