The fair has been taking place in Bochum, Germany, since 2013. The fair is held once every two years and the organizer of the event is MT Messe & Event. From spring 2023, an edition of DIAM will also take place in Germany, Leipzig. The fair is open to trade visitors from chemical and petrochemical industries, refineries, power plants, district heating, water and waste water management, large green spaces, engineering, technical colleges and universities, among others.
